S.A.F.E. Outcome

The purpose of S.A.F.E. Solutions program is to assist children and youth in achieving satisfaction in outcome from the development of problem solving skills and leadership qualities. For the student to achieve the optimum outcome, in education and training, the participation of parents is highly recommended throughout the training process. Below are thirteen items that are genuine outcomes from the S.A.F.E. Solutions model:

  1. That parents regain parental influence while working together on the issues and concerns with the children and youth.

  2. That children and youth develop their potential in problem solving and leadership qualities to the best of their abilities.

  3. That the training process be a means to address violence, conflict, abuse and neglect of children and youth.

  4. That this model be a source of problem solving and leadership skills development that assists the participants in removing barriers that affect them.

  5. That in participating in the training process the parents witnesses the student’s skills development and the shaping of a responsible citizen for the future.

  6. That the continued participation of the parents is anticipated as a means of getting students focus on education as their primary responsibilities.

  7. That the desired outcome is satisfactory and acceptable for all the parties involved.

  8. That training and education produced effective responses in preventing conflict and improving communication.

  9. That the participants achieve a satisfactory level of self-confidence and self-determination to manage the issues in day to day living.

  10. That the parties enjoy sound relationships that are stable and built on genuine trust and understanding that last a long time.

  11. That an acceptable standard of behaviour prevail and appropriateness follow the community norm.

  12. That the skills learned are applied to developing community life and a satisfied healthy life style in the larger community, as well as, in career opportunities.

  13. That the achievement of positive change be the practice on a daily basis, at home, at school and in the community to reinforce the learning that has occurred.
