Problem Solving
The development of problem solving and leadership skills is the ultimate objective of the S.A.F.E. Solutions Model. As a result of the training model, the students continue to learn skills for daily living at home, at school and in the community.
The S.A.F.E. Solutions Model is focused on skills development that can assist the student over the long term. This program provides an opportunity for the student to develop personally and to contribute leadership capabilities to the community. The flexibility in the program is an advantage that serves the needs of the student. The program seeks to assist the student in developing sound citizenship that is valued in the community. The student can exercise the training achievements in leadership or in resolving disputes where ever they occur.
An effective outcome of the training is one that is demonstrated in the student's appropriate action to prevent issues from escalating out of control and conflict resolution. The S.A.F.E. Solutions process is a means of getting the student to the level where skills development is achieved. The S.A.F.E. Solutions approach is informal and distinct from the formal legal system for dispute resolutions that is available to everyone at all times.
